Why you need a website!
The World Wide Web has completely changed the way the world is used to getting information. In years past, if you needed info, you generally telephoned a company and asked them to mail you information. Fax machines made this one step better when the company could send you black & white literature instantly. Most people do not have a fax machine at home, but almost everyone has a computer and and most of them are internet connected. More and more, mailing and faxing is becoming old-tech. As a new fully-connected electronic society, we are getting used to the internet's vast wealth of information. Many people simply start their search here now. Websites have become the first line of information. The more information you can make available on your website the better.

Spreading your information electronically has several advantages:

  • Instant gratification for your customer, no waiting for mail, faxes or return phone calls.
  • Reduces office staff work to serve your customers most common questions.
  • Animations or Video can demonstrate much better than any printed media could hope to.
  • Reduced printing and mailing costs.
While we recognize that there is a lot of value in selling directly on the internet, it is only suited to companies that sell off-the-shelf items that do not generally need much sales support. We believe that most selling should still be done face-to-face or at least over email or on the phone. A website is no replacement for good marketing plans, but it should be a big part of the overall strategy. Customer service is still of the utmost importance. We all get frustrated dealing with companies that put up a flashy website but then offer no backup customer support.
